New, sleek ‘box style’ rechargeable vape device provides consumers with more choice as the disposable vape ban takes hold

With the disposable vape ban now in force, Imperial Brands has announced the launch of its all-new, compact and discrete blu box kit.

Complementing its successful blu bar kit and blu pod offering, the all-new blu box kit caters for 25 per cent of disposable vape customers who prefer a box format vape device.

The blu box kit is anticipated to be popular with young adult vapers in the 21-30 years age group, and particularly female customers who prefer discreet devices which fit within the palm of their hand.

The brand-new kit offers consumers all the features that they love about Imperial Brand’s flagship rechargeable vaping device – the blu bar kit – which was launched last summer.

This includes 1,000 puffs of intense flavour per prefilled, replaceable pod, that’s 2,000 puffs in each pod pack (2 pods). The device includes Imperial Brand’s third-generation mesh coil technology for enhanced and consistent flavour delivery. While devices also include a 560mAh battery with USB-C port for fast charging and repeated use.

The blu box kit offers adult vapers a sleek, portable and compliant alternative to disposables, featuring a durable brushed metallic finish, visible liquid level detection and security lock to protect the device when not in use.

More flavours than ever

With flavour choice driving consumer purchasing decisions in the vaping category, Imperial Brands has supported retailers with maximising sales by offering a wide range of top performing flavours for their customers to buy and try.

The new blu box kits, which include a blu box rechargeable vaping device and 1 x blu pod, are available in 3 flavour options: Strawberry Ice, Lemon Lime and Mint. The kits carry an RRP of £5.99 each, providing a competitive vaping solution for today’s next generation nicotine market.

The blu box kit is also compatible with the entire range of blu pod flavours, helping customers as they transition to alternative products following the disposable vape ban. With an RRP of £5.99, the blu pod packs include 2 x blu pods to deliver an impressive 2,000 puffs per pod pack.

Consumers have plenty of intense flavour options to choose from with the enhanced blu pod range – including top-sellers such as Strawberry Ice, Mint, Watermelon Ice, and Blueberry Sour Razz – along with the additions of Cherry, Pineapple, Lemon Lime, and Triple Melon to give consumers plenty of choice in store.
