Hangsen debuts next-gen Bar Salts solution

Leading e-liquid manufacturer Hangsen globally debuted its next-generation Bar Salts flavour solution, the Colourist Edition, at Vaper Expo UK 2025, held from 9-11 May at the NEC Birmingham.

The new series, which drew immediate attention from brand owners and distributors across Europe and the Middle East, represents a significant evolution in e-liquid development, combining data-driven insights with modular design principles.

Colourist Edition is divided into four distinctive sub-series: Blue, Red, Purple, and Yellow. Each color represents a unique sensory direction, transforming visual inspiration into flavour experiences. With a modular design methodology, the series systematically enhances sweetness, coolness, aroma depth, acidity, nicotine, and throat hit — offering a more layered and structured sensory profile compared to traditional bar salts.

To better meet local consumer preferences, the series integrates flavour notes inspired by iconic British candies and beverages. Through a localised upgrade of its flavour library, Hangsen has built a robust portfolio of differentiated UK-style flavours, helping brand clients strengthen user engagement and gain flavour competitiveness in regional markets.

The development of Colourist Edition is grounded in Hangsen’s proprietary flavour trend database, built from 12 consecutive quarters of sales data from the UK and other European markets.

By applying modular flavour engineering, Hangsen replaces conventional trial-and-error development with a structured, data-based approach — making innovation more precise, predictable, and repeatable.

Hangsen said the new series has received highly positive feedback throughout the exhibition, with many visitors who sampled the flavours on-site remarking that the series outperforms traditional bar salts, offering a noticeably smoother vapor texture, refreshingly novel flavour combinations, and a more layered aroma from inhale to exhale. They also noted that the profiles better demonstrate the performance advantages of bottled e-liquids when paired with open-system hardware.
