SNÜ has launched three new nicotine pouch flavours – Wild Cherry, Cherry Cola and Tropical Punch – as it looks to capitalise on growing demand for flavour variety at higher strengths and the rapid mainstreaming of pouches across the UK retail landscape.
The new additions broaden SNÜ’s Extra Strong portfolio, with all three flavours available at 9mg, 12mg, 18mg and 60mg. The brand said the range has been developed to support both new and experienced pouch users, including ex-smokers, while maintaining smooth nicotine delivery and comfort at higher strengths. Wild Cherry delivers a fruit-led profile with a crisp finish, Cherry Cola blends ripe cherries with sweet cola notes, and Tropical Punch combines mango and pineapple without the cooling sensation typically associated with mint.
SNÜ said the launch reflects a clear shift in adult consumer preferences away from traditional mint and menthol options, with flavour choice increasingly driving purchase decisions. The products were developed using market trends and direct consumer feedback, with the aim of ensuring long-term relevance for shoppers while protecting category sustainability for retailers.
“Consumer demand for additional flavours away from the traditional mint and menthol flavours has been overwhelming and our aim is to fulfil this demand,” Javier Soria De Vicente, international business development manager at SNÜ, said. “As a brand, we are acting fast across our product development as we see the nicotine pouch category as the future product leader within the nicotine industry.”
De Vicente added that the rollout comes at a pivotal moment for the category.
“This launch expands SNÜ’s reach at a time when nicotine pouches are becoming a truly mainstream category. The three new flavours reflect where adult consumer preferences are heading,” he said.
To support independent retailers, the brand is rolling out point-of-sale kits, on-the-road sales support and educational tools including strength ladders and staff briefings, designed to drive engagement and repeat purchase. SNÜ added that strong demand for non-mint flavours has accelerated its product development pipeline, as it positions nicotine pouches as a future category leader within the wider nicotine market.
The launch also arrives as the sector prepares for regulatory change, including the introduction of the Vape Product Duty in October. SNÜ said it continues to take a compliant and responsible approach, noting that its modern marketing strategy has delivered 450 per cent year-on-year brand growth. The new trio features bold, recognisable packaging alongside the brand’s rub-and-smell labels to encourage trial and reduce lost sales from opened tubs at shelf.
The Wild Cherry, Cherry Cola and Tropical Punch pouches are now available through selected retailers and online, with SNÜ positioning the range as a discreet, all-day option designed to refresh shelves while building long-term category value.
