Scottish retailer Faisal Naseem has won the Specialist Retailer award at the first Vape Business Awards held on July 3, 2019 in London.

Naseem runs the store Puff Daddy Vape in Fisheracre, Arbroath.

Judges said: “One of the biggest players in the specialist bricks-and-mortar zone, the store itself is more like a vape hotel than a shop, where customers are welcomed by local street art and relaxing atmosphere, offered free hot drinks and seating available to consult with in store experts whilst vaping in store.

“There’s TV and X-Box for the kids and for the grown-ups the biggest range of products within 50 miles. It is very rare indeed for visitors to leave without a purchase.”

Faisal said: “We are still seeing growth in this sector due to the increase in prices of cigarettes and tobacco. We like to welcome and make our customers feel comfortable and relaxed with no sales pressure and a full-time commitment to answering questions and talking through the products: we rarely have customers leave without a purchase, our bestsellers being Innokin T18-E, which is a quick starter kit for new vapers, and Amazonia e-liquid especially the 10ml size.”
