Independent vaping company Aquavape has won the award in the Best Flavour category at the inaugural Vape Business Conference & Awards, hosted by Asian Media Group.

The Bolton-based company won the top prize for its Fresh Menthol flavour.

“This is a great moment for the business and to be recognised by your peers and the Asian Trader makes us all very proud,” commented Ebrahim Kathrada, director at Aquavape, after receiving the award.

“Our 50/50 range of E Liquids has been massively successful and our Fresh Menthol product really does set the standard in this segment,” he added.

Andy de Caso, operations director, said: “With the pending ban on menthol cigarettes coming into force next year, we really do believe that Aquavape have a range of products that can offer menthol smokers a great vaping alternative. The Aquavape 50/50 range has national availability through the independent sector and fascias such as Sainsbury, Asda, Spar, Euro Garages, Moto, Welcome Break and many more.”

The Awards, held at Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington on 3 July, celebrated the achievements of retailers, wholesalers and suppliers in the dynamic and growing vaping category.
