Premium vape brand RELX will be stocked across the UK’s 158 UK stores, the firm has announced.
The partnership will see one of Asia’s biggest e-cigarette brands available both in store and online. The initial deal covers VPZ stores will stock the RELX Essential device, along with three RELX Pods Pro flavours and seven RELX Pods flavours.
The company also sells a higher priced RELX Infinity device which is not currently part of the new distribution deal.
RELX’s External Affairs Director, Robert Naouss, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce our popular Essential device and a range of flavoured pods to VPZ stores across the UK.
“Our core brand values are built on providing a reliable solution to help adult smokers quit traditional cigarettes, which directly aligns with the team behind VPZ.
“It’s an exciting time to be expanding our offering within the UK vaping market and we believe this move will enable us to reach a much wider audience, of existing adult smokers and vapers.”
Director, Doug Mutter at VPZ said: “We are pleased to be working with RELX to stock their products in our VPZ stores and online. The brand is a welcome addition to our range.”
Alongside the RELX Essential device, the full portfolio of products included in the VPZ tie-in includes three RELX Pods Pro flavours (Tangy Purple, Dark Sparkle and Sunny Sparkle) as well as seven RELX Pods (Forest Gems, Rich Tobacco, Fresh Red, Raspy Ruby, Menthol Plus, Golden Slice and Hawaiian Sunshine).
RELX’s Essential device is priced at £9.99 and its closed pod system is fully compatible with all RELX Pods and RELX Pods Pro flavours which are priced at £5.99 and £7.99 respectively for a pack of two pods.
The Essential device is available to purchase in black, blue and white. The company says the RELX Essential device “allows users to experience RELX’s SuperSmoothTM vapour and an ergonomic design at an affordable price point”.
