Nordic Spirit clinches Product of the Year award

Nordic Spirit, the next generation nicotine brand, has been recognised in this year’s Product of the Year awards, based on votes by 10,000 consumers and collated by data and insight company Kantar.  

BAT, which owns the Vype brand, had been recognised in the two previous yearswith its Vype ePen system in 2019 and Vype ePod in 2020.

JTI’s Nordic Spirit brand was the recipient of an award which recognises innovation and the range’s role in the fast-emerging nicotine pouch sector.

Commenting on the win, Stephane Berset, JTI’s marketing vice president in the UK, said: “We are delighted to be awarded the much sought-after Product of the Year accolade for Nordic Spirit. Since launching in 2019, Nordic Spirit has gone from strength to strength and is now the number one nicotine pouch brand in the UK. We couldn’t be prouder and we would like to thank everyone who voted for our product.”

Brands which are recognised by the awards also win the right to feature a red Product of the Year logo on their products which the team behind the awards says leads to sales increases of 10 – 15 percent.
